FINALLY

I finally got our pictures up from our trip! This post was done right when we got back!

What a trip.......

We just got back from a fun filled, many miles mapped, fortyfivehundred footstepped, sunshine 70 degree seven day VACATION! Little Kennedy got left behind to hold down the fort, with supervision of course, the rest of us climbed into our beastly excursion and headed out. We hit Marsing and Cole wanted to know if we were there yet.......oh man was this going to be a long ride.

Sunday - Sacramento

Monday - New Port Beach

Tuesday - Disneyland

Wednesday - Disneyland

Thursday - San Diego

Friday - San Diego

Saturday - Las Vegas

Sunday- HOME!!!

Phew! I get tired all over again just looking at the intinerary! We had so much fun. The drive got a little hairy at times but we managed not to throw anyone out the window or leave them at any gas station. Although it was tempting........

We went with Jake's brother Adam, his wife Candice and their kids, Lexi, Kelly and Heidi. We stayed in the most wonderful villa in New Port Beach. My heart ached for the "So Cal" way of life. The smell of the beach air, the sound of the water, the beautiful scenery; all of it is just so intoxicating. I love it.

Two full days of Disneyland and California Adventure. I am not sure who enjoyed it more - the kids or the adults. It was fabulous! NO LINES. The longest we had to wait was for 35 minutes and that was to see the Princesses! We will never go to Disneyland again at any other time! It was so much more enjoyable without long lines!

Off to San Diego. What a fun City. While Jake worked - we played- what else is new! The San Diego Zoo is simply AMAZING. With escalators taking you up to the elephants and stairs taking you down to the under water pool of the hippos, my little "steve erwins" ate up this adventure.

Las Vegas was quite interesting. My 3 little ones eyes had never been so big and round as they soaked up Sin City. I think it was a little much for them as not much came out of their mouths! Although Cole did get to be a lion and the MGM and Jake hit a few of the slots, we were in and out of there! Kinda had a different feel when you have 3 kids walking with you down streets full of intoxicated people and barely clothed woman on cards.

We had such a good time and although little Kens missed out - this was one for the record! We will definitely be repeating this adventure. Although about 3 hours into the drive from San Diego to Las Vegas - my husband did say and I quote " We are going to fly next time" YES! Sweet!
