PHEW - we made it.

It has been quite a week at the Jones'. Sometimes I like to look at my week and see what we have done. Although there are busier households than ours, I often wonder how I am going to keep up!I'll spare you all the details, like all the stores I drug 2 kids to to get those coupons deals, but here are the highlights.

Monday- Coley turned 4! We had some friends over for cake and ice cream and lots of presents! As much as I hate to admit it, I am thankful that Cole, as sweet and cute as he is, is moving on from 3.

Kyle had his first baseball game - no pictures. Besides the holes in the outfield and the goat heads in the infield, the Blue Dragons had their 1st victory.

Tuesday - The funnest day of the week for me - I get to go to Real Deals (home decor store) and play with all the decor. Best part, I get paid to do it! Jake left town - party with me and the kids. Oh heaven help me!

Wednesday- 5:15 call from the coach just making sure Kyle was going to be a the game. GAME, what game, it wasn't until Thursday night. Rain drenched fields, wind blowing, freezing cold temperatures, we played ball. No pictures of course- too dang cold to take your hands out of the blanket. He did play 1st base the whole game and racked up the outs!

Thursday - Left the house at 9 am didn't pull back into the house until 3:30 pm. Is this what a stay at home mom does - NOT stay home!

Friday - Swim lessons gone bad. Kennedy fell back into the pool as we were leaving and hit her chin on the side of the pool and ended up with 3 stitches. She was such a champ - I think I cried more than she did! Just an ironic sidenote - When Kate was 2 she fell into the same pool, with the same instructor, busted her chin open in the same spot!

Saturday - The yard- oh man! How do so many weeds grow so quickly in such cold weather? I don't know a plant that can grow or survive the way a weed does, why is that? Maybe I should consider putting dandelion's on my menu! We pulled weeds for "hours" it seemed like to the kids. Granted, there were a lot of weeds. But the funnest and most anticipated part of our weekend was definitely planting some of our garden. We only planted pees and radishes right now, few more weeks and we will be able to do the rest. This year we are going to try some watermelons, pumpkins, squash, cucumbers, and cilantro. Along with our usual tomatoes and carrots. We are going to skip corn, cauliflower and broccoli

Sunday - PHEW - we made it.
