I can't believe I let him do it. I have fought this fight for a long time. He either caught me at a weak moment or I am just getting too old to fight anymore.....  HOWEVER, this will be short lived! My child will not go to church with a mohawk!  So enjoy the 6 days, Kyle Jones!

We are having a blast to say the least - makes up for the horrible trip getting here.  We have not stopped since we pulled into town. I don't think my kids have sleep this good since we did this last summer! They are so worn out, they are asleep before their heads hit the pillow! California has treated us well thus far.

Friday - Swimming - Adult GOURMET dinner

Saturday - More swimming - Slammin Sushi Party - Fireworks

Sunday - FIREWORKS

Monday - Swimming - again

Tuesday - Party with all the Pollmann (side) cousins

Wednesday -  did I mention we went swimming

Thursday - Cruzin in the golf cart and skipping rocks in the river - LEATHERBY's (ginormous ice cream)

Friday - super cool splash park - drive in movies

Oh and the fun doesn't stop there!  We still have another week!

road trip

2 pm was our target time

2 pm came and went
I was still running errands

last store - hurry get in car and get home

turn on car- no air conditioner

3 pm Jake takes car to dealer

4 pm Jake still not home

not a problem because I'm still packing

4 30 pm Jake is home

pack the car as fast as I can

5 pm locked and loaded

515 pm turning around Jake forgot his golf shoes

530 pm  hit the freeway

or should i say the wall of cars on the freeway

545 pm everyone is hungry

we still haven 't moved

6:15 pm get of the Nampa exit

7.5 miles from our house

grab dinner from Sonic

6:45 hit HWY 55

our curvy companion for the next 3.5 hours

Cole spills his soda - I have no napkins

a pillow case will soak up a small soda from Sonic

7:45 pm 1 hour down and yep we are stopping

 in Mc Dermit  to see why our tires are shaking our guts out

literally the kids are in the back asking why the road is so bumpy

only its not the road - it is my BRAND NEW TIRES

surprise the town of 500 doesn't have the tool we need to fix our tire

on the road again

good thing we brought 4 pillows

8:50 pm stop on the side of the road to pee
 because one of my children wouldn't pee at the last stop - guess who

9:54 pm pull into Winnemuca

gas up and go pee

get a bottle for kens - microwave doesn't work - she won't drink cold milk

10:20 pm trip to Wal Mart - no blankets for kids to sleep with

we were suppose to leave at 2 - no one needed a blanket

10:40 pm leave Winnamuca

hit hwy 80

our straight companion for the next 4 hours.

11:17 pm kids still not asleep "too shaky"

11:21 pm heaven help me.........
